the details
Elementary Session
This workshop will be free (with registration) to Longmont youth who are interested in dancing in a film project, and learning more about the agrivoltaic (solar-harvesting) farming that happens right here in our community. No experience necessary… we’re all here to learn about how solar panels and organic vegetable gardens can be the team-up of the century, and also about how to create and perform dances for a camera instead of a stage. Participants in the workshop may be included in a film that will be created based from footage crafted in the workshop.
Middle/High School Session
This workshop will be free (with registration) to Longmont youth who are interested in dancing in a film project, and learning more about the agrivoltaic (solar-harvesting) farming that happens right here in our community. No experience necessary… we’re all here to learn about how this efficient model for harvesting both crops and energy works, and how about making dances for the camera in site-specific locations can create meaningful, inspirational community-connections in our art work. Participants in the workshop may be included in a film that will be created based from footage crafted in the workshop.
